Unlimited Hosting Policy

1. What "Unlimited" Means

Unlimited Disk Space, Bandwidth and Website Plans mean that SkyServer does not impose fixed limits on the amount of disk space, bandwidth or websites used during the normal operation of a personal or small business website, provided usage complies with this policy.

If service usage creates a risk to the stability, performance, uptime, storage, networking infrastructure or server resources, SkyServer may require the customer to upgrade to a VPS solution or may take action to limit excessive resource consumption.

2. What "Unlimited" DOES NOT Mean

SkyServer Cloud Technologies employs advanced systems and automated safeguards to protect hosting subscribers and infrastructure from abuse.

Our Unlimited Hosting offering is not intended for a single customer or a small group of customers to consume excessive resources in a way that negatively impacts other subscribers.

Shared Hosting is designed primarily for small and medium-sized businesses and standard website workloads.

It is not intended for large enterprise applications, resource-intensive platforms or workloads that are more appropriately hosted on VPS or Dedicated Server environments.

To maintain a stable hosting environment, SkyServer may implement temporary restrictions, resource controls or require an upgrade when a website grows beyond the scope of a shared hosting platform.

3. Unlimited Hosting Space & Database Usage

SkyServer does not impose fixed storage limits on hosting subscribers and does not charge additional fees based on storage consumption, provided usage complies with this policy.

Our hosting services are designed for website hosting purposes and not for general file storage or archiving.

Prohibited Storage Usage

• Video Storage Libraries
• Image Archives
• Audio Repositories
• Game Files
• Executable Installers
• Personal Backup Storage
• Document Archives
• Log File Storage
• Web Spider Systems
• IRC Services
• Torrent Applications
• Peer-To-Peer File Sharing
• Testing Environments

Any prohibited use may result in service suspension or termination with or without prior notice.

SQL Database Usage Policy

Accounts containing databases larger than 1 GB may negatively affect server performance.

Customers may create multiple databases, however each individual database should not exceed 1 GB in size.

SkyServer reserves the right to request database optimization or reduction, and may temporarily disable services if database usage negatively impacts server performance.

4. Unlimited File Transfer

SkyServer does not limit the amount of visitor traffic a website may receive and does not charge additional fees based on normal bandwidth consumption.

In most circumstances, websites may support as much legitimate traffic as they can acquire.

To ensure service stability, SkyServer reserves the right to limit processor usage, bandwidth consumption, memory allocation or running processes when such usage adversely affects other customers.

5. Unacceptable Resource Usage

The following activities are considered unacceptable resource usage on shared hosting services.

• Running cron jobs at intervals less than five (5) minutes.
• Running MySQL queries longer than thirty (30) seconds.
• Using more than twenty-five percent (25%) of server resources continuously for more than ninety (90) seconds.
• Resource-intensive CGI scripts.
• Excessive FTP usage.
• Excessive PHP process consumption.
• Excessive HTTP process activity.

Mailbox Limits

• Maximum 5 GB per mailbox.
• Maximum 50 GB combined mailbox storage per domain.

Accounts exceeding these limits may be restricted to maintain platform stability.
